All Hallows' Eve

So it's halloween today, the day when my parents go all out crazy in the hope of scaring little kids to tears. Yeah, it's a pretty fun day when you look at it like that.
This year they're going for an alien autopsy theme - complete with jars of entrails and other such delights.
Looks like it might be a bit windy to set up the gazebo... But we'll see what happens.
I'll post a few pics tomorrow at some point.

Well, my nextdoor but one neighbours leave today. We had a sort of leaving party last night to celebrate the time they've spent living here.
Our street is like our own little community, everyone on our row of houses gets on really well with each other (except the two houses at the end; one of them has kids from hell, the other house has the weirdest people ever in - Kinda like UK hillbillies)
I hope they enjoy Scotland.
(Also, Woo! I have a car now... Sort of)

Due to popular (Mandy) demand, I've set up a gallery for all the pictures I dump in my /x/ directory.
It's using some spiffy lightbox v2 javascript stuffs. The rest of it I wrote myself, which is basically why it sucks, whee...

I think I can safely say that my guestbook is finished. You can find it up at the top ^.
I've disabled HTML, because I know for a fact people will try to abuse it - I've already had one friend ask if they can use HTML.
Instead, I've added some BBCode like tags; [b][/b] for bold, [u][/u] for underlined and [i][/i] for oblique.

A Car For Me!

Recently my nextdoor but one neighbours have decided to move up north to Scotland, I think it has something to do with a new/better job, but I'm not really sure.
Anyway, they've got two cars at the moment; A tiny little Nissan Micra and a hideous Multipla Monstrosity. They only want to take one car with them, so were considering scrapping the Micra.
They would have had to pay a fair bit of money to have it scrapped, which isn't good when you're moving home. So my mum stepped in and offered to take it off their hands for me to use, and if it's no good - we'll scrap it for them.
When they leave next month I'll have a car!Providing it passes it's MOT, heh. I guess I'd better start taking lessons again.

So, I've got my blog up and running and in the previous post I said I needed a nice interface...
Well I have a nice interface now, like I wanted. It's in the form of a Dashboard Widget for OS X.

Well, I've scrapped the old blog system and killed all the old posts.
I'm now using a blog system I put together myself that spans 1 file and is a whole 12kb big. Just a bit smaller than the old wordpress, heh.
I should probably write myself a nice little interface for actually posting blog articles, manually inserting them via SQL queries isn't particularly fun...
Anyways, this is my first post on my homebrew system. The first of many, hopefully.
